British Bangladesh Fashion Council - Fokrul Hoque

The British Bangladesh Fashion Council (BBFC) was set up by its CEO, Fokrul Hoque, as a Social Enterprise in early 2016. It is a profit making business, but all profits are re-invested into training the

next generation of fashion designers and creatives.

This new business is unique, and a first for the British Bangladeshi community. BBFC has already made waves in the fashion industry and has helped launch three new fashion labels owned by British



In October 2016, it organised the first ever Bangladeshi Fashion Week London, at the prestigious East Winter Garden in Canary Wharf. Since the fashion show, BBFC has provided a number of training programmes in fashion and textiles, as well as in hair and make-up.
